Team Size

All you really need is yourself and a water bottle. We’ll handle the rest! Plus, our on-site fridge and concession stand keep you fueled, and every purchase helps fund facility upgrades for an even better league experience.

Absolutely! This is exactly what we encourage for our inaugural season. We want newcomers of all skill levels to jump in, meet new teammates, and grow our volleyball community together. Don’t be shy, bring a friend too! There are incentives for signing up other players, so the more the merrier.

Free Agents will be placed on teams or an expansion team is created with the free agents.

Get ready for a full season of action!

  • League runs January 19th - April 13th (12 weeks total) - Eastern Monday, April 6th we won't host league games but members are more than welcome to bring family and friends for some friendlies
  • 10 weeks of regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs
  • You’ll play at least 3 games every week

Quick maths: 12 weeks × 3 games = a minimum of 36 games per team this season! That’s plenty of sets, rallies, and bragging rights waiting to happen.

Side note: All zones that are free during and after league games are open to members to use for warm-ups or friendlies. All we ask is you take a quick pic of our facility and tag us in your IG/TikTok stories or a Google review, trust it goes a long way.

Of course! We’re all about building a community of volleyball players, and nothing brings people together like good games followed by good pizza across the facility at Boston Pizza!

Not at all! This is our first season, and we’re welcoming players of all skill levels, from first-timers to seasoned spikers. We’ll make sure teams are matched so play stays fun and fair. All you need is the energy to show up and have a good time!

Assumption of Risk:

I, the undersigned payee, acknowledge and understand that participation in activities at Overtime Athletics sports facility involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or damage to personal property. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in any activity or use of the facility by myself and all guests and participants.

Release and Waiver of Liability:

In consideration of being allowed to rent the court and participate in activities at Overtime Athletics, I, for myself, my guests, participants, heirs, personal representatives, or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Overtime Athletics, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from liability from any and all claims, including negligence, resulting in personal injury, accidents, illnesses, or property loss arising from, but not limited to, participation in activities, use of equipment, or any incidents occurring on the premises of Overtime Athletics.

Responsibility of Payee:

I acknowledge and agree that as the payee, I am fully responsible for ensuring the safety and conduct of all guests and participants during the rental period. I assume full liability for any injuries, damages, or issues arising from the activities of my group at the facility. Overtime Athletics will not be held responsible for any such incidents.

Medical Consent:

I hereby give permission to Overtime Athletics staff to provide emergency medical treatment in the event of an accident, injury, or illness involving myself or any guests and participants. I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses incurred.

Agreement to Follow Rules:

I agree to ensure that all guests and participants follow all rules and regulations set forth by Overtime Athletics. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in removal from the facility without a refund.

Indemnification:

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Overtime Athletics from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, arising out of, connected with, or resulting from the activities of myself and my guests and participants at the facility.

Representative Designation:

If I, the payee, am not present during the rental period, I will designate a representative from my group to be present for communication purposes prior to and during the rental. This representative will act on my behalf and will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all rules and regulations and for addressing any issues that may arise.

Acknowledgment of Understanding:

I have read this waiver and release of liability and fully understand its terms. I understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue, on behalf of myself and all guests and participants. I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
